Your main role as Web UI & Application Developer is to develop and implement the online web service system and web applications.
Your duties include the following:
- codes, tests, and debugs complex web programming and web application programs to create new web services interfaces or maintains/modifies existing web site and applications according to site scenario and marketing plan;
- develops work plans and technical documents covering system architecture, conversion, integration, testing, and implementation for a system or complex enhancement to a system; develops specifications for web service systems;
- performs unit and modular and integration testing for application development/modification; writes and executes programs to extract, transform, and load data for more complex system conversions;
- performs quality assurance functions;
- prepares, reviews, and validates technical documents and user manuals;
- leads in the identification, analysis and resolution of complex application problems;
- participates in developng application development methodologies and standards;

Web Application Developer
- Design and develop concepts and production of web pages for corporate internet, intranet and pathology portal web sites.
- Production includes development from concept to execution.
- Working closely with internal IT group, following their standards for web development; company and IT processes for application development; and utilizing IT-approved applications. Also working with select vendors and outside contractors when necessary.
